Heating effects	Electricity can be transferred into other forms of energy such as the heat which generates light in headlight bulbs.
Chemical effects	Electricity may be used to store energy through chemical reactions such as in a lead acid battery.
Magnetic effects	Current passed through a coil of wire creates a magnetic field. Turning the current on and off can activate a mechanical relay, or create the rotary motion of an electric motor.
Electrical resistance	Electrical resistance is the measure of how much an object resists the passage of an electrical current. Resistance is measured in ohms.
