Summary
Area is the amount of expanse of a flat or curved surface.
Wheel cylinder

Area is the amount of expanse of a flat or curved surface. The metric system uses square meters (m2). The Imperial system uses square inches (in2), square feet (ft2) and acres. You will need to understand area measurements when determining the size of wheel cylinders and brake caliper pistons.
